Orlando Visit Report

A short visit and stay at the hotel.

Overall comments:

Nice area, with plenty of night spots within walking distance
Hotel restaurant is overpriced ($45-55 entrees)
Renovation was going on (and has been for weeks). They say it’ll be finished before our conference.
AC inop in room. Had to change to another room; I refused to wait for a technician in a hot and sweaty room. Front desk was accomodating.
Monica was great and responsive

Happy hour only outside, not at inside bar. Bar food was impressive and not too expensive.

Note: they said this is only opened when the hotel is near capacity (i.e., event at convention center).

Jack's bar

Only open when restaurant is open 5pm - 930 (last seating).

25% discount card might be available from front desk. ASK!
