Coming up soon is one of the best reasons to be a member of the Military Writers Society of America (MWSA). On October 1, the submission window for the 2027 MWSA anthology will be opening. MWSA has been producing anthologies for over a decade, and for many, our anthologies have been an excellent opportunity to get published one more time. Many others take advantage of the anthology to tell a personal story about an experience they had or to share with the world a story about a family member’s experiences in the military.

We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to get published again—or maybe for the first time. Our only request is that you read and follow the submission guidelines. If I had to emphasize one thing, make sure your submission is well edited before you send it in.
