Essential Editing by Elisabeth

  • Manuscript Assessment
  • Structural/Content Editing
  • Copy/Line Editing
  • Style Sheet Creation

In our family, words mattered and details mattered. My mom was a teacher, school principal, and magazine editor. My brother was also a magazine editor. I followed in their footsteps, working with military families to share their stories of hope in the face of tragedy and loss. So it’s no surprise I find myself continuing the tradition and caring deeply about how authors present themselves and their stories to their readers.

Although I have done my fair share of writing, I get the most joy from helping other authors polish and refine their work for consistency, clarity, and impact. And of course we’ll deal with the PUGS on the way (Punctuation, Usage, Spelling, and Grammar).

Whether you are planning to self publish or find a traditional publisher for your work, you owe it to yourself (and your words) to put your best work forward.
