With the conference taking up the last week of September I thought getting this information out before leaving was a good idea and something the authors would appreciate.

Book of the Month - David Andrew Westwood for his book Tullykillane, 1941
as President of Military Writers Society of America. My term is up the end of this month and I am stepping down to focus more on my own work. It has been a joy -- and a lot of work -- to work with MWSA. However, I'm so very proud of how far we have come and of the journey we have just started.

Dwight Zimmerman our soon ot be President has graciously donated ten copies each of "Saga of the Sioux and Lincoln's Last Days" to be sold at the book table at our conference and the proceeds donated toward the costs of running the awards program.
An indication of his belief in the program and the direction MWSA is taking. I am sure I speak for the members when I offer my thanks for this generous donation.
